| St. Joseph’s House of Prayer- A Residential House for Young Women |
Places are available at St. Joseph’s House, located near South Street in the Queen Village section of Philadelphia. St. Joseph’s House is a residential house of prayer and discernment for single women. It provides a strong Catholic environment of community, mutual spiritual support, prayer, service, and Eucharistic adoration. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in a chapel that adjoins the house. Daily Mass is celebrated in the chapel or a neighboring church. Many of the women are discerning their career choice and/or vocations to married, single, lay consecrated, or religious life. The women share rent and utilities. University students are especially invited to apply.
